What are Schu pieces made of?

Our objects are 3D-printed in PLA, a plant-based, biodegradable material. It lets us create bold, playful, detailed designs with far less waste than traditional manufacturing.

Are the pieces made to order?

Yes. Each piece is made and finished by hand in our Perth studio once you order, which is why processing takes 2–4 business days. Small variations in colour or texture are part of each piece's character.

How long will my order take to arrive?

Processing is 2–4 business days, then standard shipping is 3–8 business days and express 1–3 business days within Australia. You'll get a tracking number by email as soon as it ships.

Do you offer free shipping?

Yes — free standard delivery on all Australian orders over $100.

Do you ship internationally?

How do I care for my piece?

Keep pieces out of prolonged direct sun and away from high heat (they're made from PLA), and clean gently with a soft, dry or slightly damp cloth. Avoid dishwashers, harsh chemicals and abrasive sponges.

Are the pieces food-safe / waterproof?

Our pieces are decorative objects and lamps, not designed for food contact or holding water unless stated on the product page. When in doubt, email us before use.

Can I request a custom colour or design?

We love a good collaboration. Reach out at hello@schustudio.com.au with your idea and we'll tell you what's possible. Note that custom orders are non-returnable.

Can I return or exchange an item?

We accept returns only for faulty or damaged items (within 7 days of arrival) and don't offer direct exchanges. Full details are on our Shipping & Returns page.
